Are you looking to take control of your mental, physical, and emotional health? Are you interested in embarking on a health journey that involves awareness, acceptance, mindfulness, and learning more about yourself? Do you want to build resiliency in all areas, so that when life puts extra demands on you, you are able to deal with those demands without feeling stressed or overwhelmed?
When you work with me, my goal to help you to achieve the balance you are looking for. I will be with you along your journey and you won't have to tackle the hard parts alone.
A holistic approach to health simply means understanding that the individual parts are intertwined and connected to the whole. That being "healthy" means taking into account all parts of a person's wellbeing - their mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and relationship health. You are living your best life when your mind, body, and soul are balanced and healthy. That's why I use a holistic approach that encompasses all five pillars of health, to allow you to take control of your wellness journey.
Your mental health involves your stress response and resiliency to stress. It's how you process emotions and feelings on a chemical level, and includes the tools you have in place to maximize your mental health.
We are emotional, feeling, beings. Emotional health includes our desires and motivators which power our thought cycle and effects our behavior. Our emotional health is a measure of our emotional energy - how "full" our bucket is.
The physical state your body is in. Your ability to fight disease and infection.
Your spiritual health includes your connectedness to something bigger than yourself and your sense of purpose. Your spiritual health isn't tied to any religious practices, but your own personal philosophy - which may or may not align with any specific religion.
Your relationship health comes down to how you connect with those around you.
